- Secure Socket Layer (SSL) enabled: Data transmitted between users' browsers and ourDB server are all encrypted with the certificate issued by GoDaddy, meaning that no one will be able to sniff our confidential data over the public network Internet (assuming that our PC/workstations - NOT ourDB server - were not infected with virus/spyware)
- 2-Factor Authentication demo +: to better secure data, users may enable 2-factor authentication, so that every time they log in ourDB, a temporary one-time password will be sent to them for the 2nd level login
- Private cloud: For a more secure architecture, ourDB can be set up in a way that the databases can be accessible only to authorized users and only from predefined locations
